This cult-favorite, multi-purpose lip balm has been popular for over 100 years. An Old Family Standby Since 1895, this world-famous salve has been re-discovered by Hollywood stars and makeup artists. Rosebud Salve is still a favorite to aid in the relief of chapped and dry skin, blemishes, diaper rash, and detergent burns. Rosebud Salve is also a wonderful lip moisturizer and natural looking lip gloss. It moisterizes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. Also an excellent remedy for the treatment of diaper rash. The original flagship product, Smith's Rosebud Salve remains our top seller. A glossy, non-sticky, non-waxy, texture makes this balm stand out. Only a dab is necessary, ensuring that one tin lasts a very long time! Mix with lipstick for extra shine. During allergy and cold season, dab on a dry, irritated nose to relieve discomfort.

Smith's Rosebud Salve is an all-purpose skin preparation. It was first invented in 1892. This delightful salve works beautifully as a delicately scented lip gloss/balm. It comes in a delightfully retro tin containing .8 oz of the product. One container lasts me for about 10 months with daily use.
Keep a tin handy to keep lips smooth, hydrate dry cuticles and to moisten and protect dry or chapped skin. This mild formula contains essential oils and is always soothing and healing. Highly recommended. |

I have recently bought this product to try and I'm already a little obsessed. I'm a lip product junkie, but nothing compares to this salve. It leaves my lips soft, supple, but not greasy or sticky. And unlike other lip balms (like softlips), it doesn't make my lips flake or peel. It may be a little expensive, but it is well worth the cost.I can see why this has been such a staple for so many people over the years. I'm already in love with it!

The best stuff on the planet. Smith's Rosebud Salve is chapstick, moisturizer, perfume and lubricant all in one neat little retro package. I'm kidding about that last bit...maybe. All I know is that this stuff is amazing. I use it on my lips all the time, but I've also used it to help heal windburn and blemishes, to give my cheeks a glow for a night out and to soften my torn up cuticles. It may be the most versatile mini-tin in the universe.

Is it as good as they claim? There's no doubt- the lip balm, moisturizer, wild hair tamer is considered the gold-standard of lip balms. Celebrities, beauty editors and beauty addicts worldwide go crazy for it. It's soft, supple, slightly rose-scented and slightly tinted, but goes on clear. Well worth the five bucks.
All The Hype...

All the hype about this product isnt just hype. Those who say it has no fragrance must not have a keen sense of smell. It has a delightfully subtle rose scent, it does exactly what vaseline does, but its cheaper, slightly tinted, compact, and has been around longer. Its great as a primer for mascara, lipgloss, and eyeshadow. It works as a highlighter to give you glowing cheeks, and if you exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush before applying the Salve, it will last twice as long. Its also great for healing acne scars, cuts, chapped knees and elbows, and frayed cuticles. So if you like an all-in-one for $5, this is it!
